Hi, I have started to rip my cd’s to a NAS and use iTunes as replay and synch iPhone etc. on MacBook Pro. I point iTunes to my NAS under Preferences-Advanced-iTunes Media Folder Location (/Volumes/music/iTunes Media) but for some reason iTunes keep reverting to the default location on the MacBook (/Users/jakob/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media). I assume when the NAS goes in sleep mode and contact is down? Does anyone else experience this problem, or even better found a solution you could share? /Jakob

As a newbie, I thought someone might benefit from my recent experience just as I have benefitted from the other useful posts here. My primary source has been an MSB iLink into a Firestone DAC. The iLink is a modified iPod into a dock that re-clocks the output and removes jitter before the DAC.
