Chaps, Thank you all for your very sound, sensible and intelligent advice over the past two and a half months. In kind and to your keen ears here is a summary of my first four days in possession of my new Naim audio equipment (UServe + ND5 XS + NAC152 XS + NAP155 XS). I picked up my new Naim equipment on Saturday from the dealer here in Oslo, when I pulled up outside I could see the dealer and his colleagues demoing a Naim system to a prospective client. I opened the door and was immediately...

Chaps - To try to keep things simple at home, my plan was to backup the 2TB UServe via a 2TB external USB drive with its own power supply and just do it manually every week. I do not have a NAS and I don't want to get one so I consider this to...

I'm currently looking at moving to a hard-disk-based system, and the UnitiServe looks to be just what I need. I'm a little disappointed that the UnitiServe doesn't support Wi-Fi connections, but I figured I can get around that by using an old Airport...

What would you do if given the option of a reliable cloud-based music service that meant you could just ditch all home music file storage? The prospect for me and perhaps most others who may not be living in actual houses with...

I rather unwisely bought a secondhand nDAC from eBay recently and have now discovered TosLink ports 3 and 4 do not work, no matter how many times 'prev' & 'next' are pressed. Has anybody come across Toslink ports 3 & 4 not working? Luckily for me 1 & 2 do work ok Presumably the repair bill will be well over 1,000.... TIA Shaun

New software is now available for Naim streaming products the ND5 XS, NDX and SuperUniti. The software simply resolves the ‘Error 36’ issue experienced by a small minority of owners of these specific products. If you have experienced 'Error 36' with your ND5 XS, NDX or SuperUniti products you can download the update, along with instructions on how to apply it to your product here .

Just tuned in to the 320k stream of Radio 3, and heard Jim Naughtie on the Today programme. It seems to have turned into the LW version of Radio 4. Could someone else try this - is it just me?
