I really need to process apple lossless via upnp. Using a MAC for storage i have tried various upnp server software. All have been either buggy or really slow. In fact the only Upnp software i have been happy with is the one that comes bundled with the latest squeezeserver software (tested using flac), unfortunately this doesn't transcode from alac to flac.
