If any one can throw any light on this, I am unable to use the naim logo to put my serve into standby. The manual tells not to just switch off from the rear on off switch and to first touch the naim logo screen to activate standby mode.

Why?  FYI: those are regular flacs. The tags look very common.  When I drag these flacs and drop them to Kinsky Desktop my KDS just plays them OK.
