Streaming Audio

Setup is Uniti v3, Buffalo NAS. I've been through hoops these last few months trying to find a suitable solution for laptop control. Everything I've tried (foobar, media player, XBMC etc)is not quite there, be it dropouts, bugs, crashes, freezes etc....
