Streaming Audio

Today, I have updated my iphone 7 to iOS 11.3. Turned out now as I try to open the naim app it only loads a black screen on startup and closes / crashes itself automatically in few secs. Any idea how to I get it working again?

I am new to Naim and Streaming. I have a Uniti Atom and stream via Spotify. I use an Ipad iOS.11.2.6 with the Naim app. Despite opening Spotify via the Naim app, it seems the default player is the Ipad itself. Once I change the player to the Atom it seems to accept this for some time and then reverts back to the Ipad as the default player if I have not used the Atom for a day or so. Why are these sorted by Forename when Artist Sort and Album Artist Sort are tagged as 'Surname, Forename'? I'm using dBpoweramp and Assset UPnP.

Given recent concerns over my Nova and the latest Qobuz update being iffy (many tracks pause and restart after 2 secs with the new Qobuz app when using Chromecast), I noticed that when going to now playing I don't see sample rate and bit depth as I would if playing from NAS or USB. i have an Atom in my lounge and a Mu-so Qb in my bedroom. Finally got around to playing around with Multiroom. Seems to work well. And then I read about Party Mode. So I had two different tracks playing on the two streamers. At the third press of the button (minor network issue I'm guessing) I got the Atom to play the Qb track (and put a big smile on my face I might add), but I didn't seem to have the option of the Atom as the master and playing it's track on the Qb. Normal, a fault or senility?

So this week coming could be when we see some positive fixes for the Uniti range - Naim please confirm.......

When I select the Naim app I can scroll through artists and albums and select the album I wish to play, It plays fine and all is well until I awaken the app to choose a different album or artist. The only options are to pause the album playing or choose a different track from the album playing. I am unable to go "back" to make a new selection from my library. I have to close the app and then open it again to see my library then select a different artist or album It happens on both my Netgear...

How does one add a radio station in the NAIM App? Assume it should appear in the added stations when the star under the station is selected.

Hi everyone, Have recently taken delivery of my 2nd Nova in just 2 weeks and both have had exactly the same issue - a long thin plastic block located under the front facia (it's where the Naim logo lights up) has just dropped off! I'm thinking about replacing my 25 year old Tivoli radio in my bathroom with a smart speaker. I have been thoroughly enjoying my Nova, absolutely loving the SQ! All except when I am playing over AppleTV. I have set the auto standby to 5mins. After 5mins of playing it is fine. But perhaps 1/2 hour later (I didn't time this), while in the middle of a song, the unit would suddenly go to standby. Anyone else having this issue or had this issue? I am advised to set auto standby to never as a result. Is auto standby supposed to kick-in after no-user-input for 5mins or after no audio signal...

Radio Paradise has stopped working in my system. All other iRadio channels are fine but RP is silent (although I can see the track playing details on the App). Anyone else got this issue? Regards David

Just ordered a Tellurium Q Black USB Type A to Type B Cable for the MM/USB Regen connection - first upgrade for a few years since joining in with streaming (apart from getting a Tacima mains conditioner which definitely improved the SQ). Not a feature I've needed to use in a long time, but I need to play one track on repeat, over and over again. So I set the track playing on my 272 and pressed the repeat control in the app, expecting it to be something like one press for repeat album, two presses for repeat individual track. Or something along those lines, at least. But it'll only repeat the whole album - when the track I want to repeat ends, the next track starts regardless. Hi would it be an advantage to directly connect my nas to my NDS via a good quality ethernet cable - avoiding multiple switches and routers...... any thoughts and advice. Currently my nas connects through Asus router and then through 20m of CAT6 screened cable to a Gigabit switch..... and finally to NDS...surprisingly - quality seems pretty darn good so far!

I have been trying to add Radio Stations to my Atom using the iOS app and MacBook to go to http://myradio.naimaudio.com/setupapp/naim/asp/BrowseStations/StartPage.asp I have added the Mac code as requested and chosen some stations to add to my list but nothing has shown up and I keep getting this in the app even after following the instructions. The stations I have saved show up on the my radio naim page but not in my saved stations on in the app. Have I done anything wrong?

Spent 45mins auditioning the Uniti Atom and Nova yesterday using the Naim app on iPad. The app crashed no less than 5 times. This is both surprising as well as disappointing given the application is already v5.9. That said, the only thing I know is that the app is uptodate. Ahhhh at last, today Tidal was updated and now works with Android Auto (Car Play was already released). So at least now I have mobile, Naim, Fire TV and most important Android Auto - if only Tidal wasn't so Yank centric playlist wise. I've given up on Spotify ever going lossless, that would be my perfect scenario.
