Streaming Audio

hi all, can someone tell me if i can connect my iphone 6 ( with iOS11 ) using bluetooth, to my version 2 superuniti with the aptx bluetooth included? I can connect my macbook pro to it using bluetooth no problem, but just can't do the same with my iphone... I was trying to play my itunes library that's stored on my iphone on my SU. In this instance it's a question of can it be done, rather than one of music quality and the best way to do it. Thanks

This question must be asked as I note the network is the way to connect all the audio sources. Presumably, now the Internet is connected, there is danger a virus could come. Is there a firewall or antivirus in place? I know that question is silly but associated with viruses are these.

I have just set-up my UnitiAtom, and everything is working just fine, but... I cannot see the other 'multiroom' devices. I have a UnitiQute two floors below, and a NAC 272 one floor below. These two 'see' each other in multiroom via the naim app on my android 'phone, but the Atom is not visible as a multiroom device from either the UQ or the 272. I’ve been having some good results with my NDS. Since reconfiguring the network, it is behaving itself and the servers are not dropping out. However, I’ve been playing with the USB input on the front of my NDS to stream DFF and DSF music, neither of which can be seen either by my NS01 server or my NAS drives. This was a topic a while ago and it was a while ago I was experiencing BBC radio (R4) dropping out. In the very worst of the problems the MuSo (BBC?) accumulated over 20 minutes of delay, before at some stage late in the day everything got back on track. I've a question regarding cabling used between an ND5 XS and outboard tube DAC. Amplification is an XS-2 and I have the separate power supplies for both units. At the moment I'm using high quality interconnects, RCA to RCA. But I've come across a number of cables on the internet that do RCA to DIN. Is there any advantage to this? My DAC only has RCAs out. I do prefer the sound of the tubed DAC. (But, if I didn't have it, I'd be happy with sound of the built-in DAC of the ND5 XS.) Thanks in...

Today, the Belgian national radio stations went to DAB+. So, in order to listen to them, I did a rescan of the DAB stations. Quite amazed to see that during scanning 46 stations were detected, but when I got the list, it mentioned "No stations available. Press List to rescan". Well, I finally roused myself yesterday, and a couple of grazed knuckles later, have finally managed to run an ethernet cable from the router at the front of the house, to the music room at the rear. The Devolo wi-fi extenders were there to improve the wi-fi signal in the music room, in order to use the Naim app on my iPad, as well as connecting the system to my Lan. I’m wondering that the qute might not have enough power and of course the whole reason is a sound quality upgrade.

Have finally got round to updating my NDX to Version 4.4, however I keep encountering Access Denied when trying to open the NaimStreamerUpdater. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this issue?

I'm new to Mu-so and to streaming (yeah, OK, I'm old!). I've successfully managed to play albums via my Mu-so Qb's that were ripped onto my desktop PC's hard drive using dBpoweramp to create FLAC files. The tracks are faithfully listed in order in dBpoweramp itself and subsequently in Windows Media Player. Indeed, they also then appear in their original sequence in Windows Explorer. I don’t know what connection Naim are using for the new Uniti range with the remote but talk about hit and miss... how many times, sitting 14feet away, should you have to press a button on the remote to get a response? and as for holding the power button for 3 seconds to put it into deep sleep, not a chance, they just don’t communicate that well, sadly...

I am up amNd runnng with Uniti Atom througjh iOS app. But not able to pair the Remote. Every timeI power it on it takes me to the home screen. And even trying for many times by pressing the home button on Remote for 3 secs and more I am not able to pair the remote. Any idea what's is going on ? regards, Sourav

After recently ripping my entire CD collection to FLAC and starting to stream, I have posted a few questions regarding my options for a streamer upgrade (Sonos ZP90 to ND5 XS). I have of course received lots of interesting and useful information and opinions. I have been sitting here most of today listening to music (still via the Sonos). I expect that it might well all be improved (a little? a lot? who knows?) with an upgrade to a Naim streamer. I have the inclination and the funds to buy.

Hello all - I just purchased a Nova, and had no luck pairing it with the remote. So, I completed the set up using the Naim App. Success. My dealer had me bring in the remote & gave me a new one to try. The Nova is working perfectly. I tried to pair the remote with the unit - no luck. Is there a way to pair the remote with the up & running Nova? Thanks.

Hi to everybody. A little question: i have a Uniti Atom that recognizes DSF files only from an USB HD. The DSF files aren't recognized from a NAS linked by an ethernet cable. Any solution? Thank you Richard

The idea is to stream everithing from the living room to the qb, including the analog FM, the digital input, UPNP and Tidal. Any experience with it? How do I select the kitchen in android app? So I have a brand new atom. Fresh out of the box. The remote won't pair. Pushing any button on the remote causes the remote ring to blink twice. The atom itself is stuck on "Choose Language". This is not a good customer experience. What do I do next ? Ben
