Hi Forum, I bought a QB last week and have an issue with Airplay playback. When streaming using Airplay from iPad or Mac there is interference/crackling with the audio. The behaviour is consistent whether the Mac is connected by WiFi or ethernet. The mu-so is connected by Ethernet to an Airport Express/time capsule network. All other mu-so inputs (radio, UPNP, digital optical) play flawlessly. Also, the iPad and Mac stream Airplay without issue to other devices (Denon AVR, Apple TV, NAD D...

i am need of a new streamer and would like a naim to go with my 250.2/s400, I was thinking a 172xs but someone has offered me an ndx for a good price. i also need digital input for my tv, but as I don’t know much about them I’m assuming they can both be used as preamp for other sources?

The Naim app is unpredictably on and off, mostly off. When it works, it's brilliant. Sad it rarly happens. Solutions, anyone?

I know there are a few users on this forum. Just wondering if you leave yours on all the time or just power on for a listening session and then off again. Mine tends to be left on over the whole weekend when i get most time to listen and then switched on when needed in the week. James

i currently use mconnectHD app to connect to my Tidal account which enables their 'Master' hi-res music to be played on my Naim nd5xs streamer. 24bit 48k music. I run Asset UPNP 6 in a Windows Server. All works well, mostly. I have a problem with compilation albums where every track has a different artist. When I only set ALBUM ARTIST or ALBUMARTIST to Various or VA or whatever on every track and the COMPILATION tag to 1 the artists on the album all show up under the Artist list in the Naim App with one track. Is it possible to configure the App or Asset UPNP in a way that this doesn't happen and the compilation album shows under Various Artists?
