Streaming Audio

I am planning on buying the Naim Uniti Nova. I have a budget of about 5000 pounds for the speakers. I listen mostly to classic rock - Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd etc but I am also fond of heavier stuff like Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC DC etc, Pearl Jam is another favourite of mine . Not really into classical music but I am hoping that will change after having this set up. Apple TV updated to TVOS 11, any OS before there was no problem using airplay. Now it's a complete disaster, permanent blackouts. The product is unusable at all. (streamer version of qb is 1.5)

I can't find Magic Radio (aka Magic 105.4) from London on our shiny new Mu-so QB. I already have it as a preset on the 272 from when it was set up last year and it works fine but despite trying both the Naim app and Naim vTuner there's no Magic Radio that I can find. Neither can I find it when I do a new search on the 272, which is what I'd expect. I've also searched on Planet Radio and Bauer but to no avail. I'm probably doing something silly but any suggestions anyone please? Magic Radio...

Anybody experienced this using the app on NDX... A few months ago the volume on the SN2 was turning clockwise by itself when using the app on my smartphone to control the NDX when streaming from US. This happened a couple of times and fortunately I was close by to act before I ruined the speakers. Obviously I've got the SN2 and NDX linked with the remote cable. Something happened with my Naim application in my iPhone 6. Everything was working perfectly and today stopped. I reinstalled application and it doesn't see any product. I used sequences from Welcome page: Setup new product - Uniti Core - Next.... and program starts never-ending searching. Any ideas?

Looks like Qobuz will introduce a Sublime+ subscription in May 2017 which will allow streaming of approx. 60,000 albums in hi-res 24bit (not just albums purchased as with Sublime) . Since their takeover they seem to have stabilised and grown, expanding into more European countries with others planned. Is this enough for Naim to finally consider supporting Qobuz? I am fed up with erratic 16bit Tidal and poor quality mp3 on Spotify and these offerings do not offer the best quality to match...

I have a Naim Nac N-272 which I have been using to stream Tidal on for the last year or so. Yesterday, I changed my wifi setup by adding a supplemental router to try to cover for the Sky Box inadequacies I've faced for some time. The Sky box is still acting as modem with a Linksys router plugged into it. Sky wifi has been disabled. I've bought naim muso qb last weekend. During use, i have a problem with it. Sometimes i can't switch on, only power button glow. I was try many times to turn on but nothing happend. The first times after 1 day, i tried and it's worked. But now the seconds times, nothing happened. Anybody know what's happen with it and what should i do? Thanks all.

I've had the Atom for a couple of weeks now and am really enjoying it with my Focal Aria 926's. It replaced a UnitiLite. Whilst it has tremendous grip on the speakers up until the volume 55 mark, after that point, vocals become edgy and the speakers lose their grip and therefore difficult to listen to. Realise its early days yet and perhaps the Atom needs more playtime but I read the "possible upgrade path" section on Naim's website suggesting a NAP 100. Here's my question to the forum - why...

I am using a QNAP NAS with Asset serving my 272 with both ripped and downloaded music. I have been reading about the new Uniti Core and its great SQ and was wondering if it would be worth it for me to transfer my music to a Uniti Core. I will be ripping an occasional CD in the future. I currently will use DB poweramp and my Mac's drive for ripping. Will there be an audible difference in SQ and will it be more convenient. What software does the Core use and is it at least as good as Asset. Thanks

Why do we have to make all flacs in the same album have the same artist in the artist field. This is so so unacceptable. We need a new field to create an album among flacs and leave the artist field, which is full of very nice information, alone. Who makes these standards? Who do we b to about getting some improvements on these old standards written in stone. Yes the metadata works but that is no reason to never improve upon it. I recently copied 2 cd's of .wav files to my ReadyNAS 102 storage from my PC using Exact Audio Copy. To keep things in order, I made a folder of the named CD, with subfolders called Disc 1 and Disc 2. After EAC had finished copying, I checked the files were there on the NAS, which they were. Hi there, I'm trying to update my Firmware on my SU to the current version from the v3. I'm on a Mac Air (os 10.10) but when I get to 'select a port' from the updater the only port it shows is the Bluetooth one which doesn't do anything. When using the Naim iOS App to play a Tidal or UPnP playlist, where it is already set to shuffle, it always starts with the same track (the first one). When the Naim App is already set to shuffle it should start with a random track.

Does anyone know what Error Code 315 means, currently it blocked me from using my Atom. If it's not serious, how does one clear it. I cannot access the factory reset because of this error message.

Am I doing something wrong? I'm trying to play an album (or playlist) on Tidal by clicking the arrow above the whole track listing and it only plays the first track. Do I have a setting wrong?

If you have been unable to get your Atom or Nova to play Tidal read on this may help you. My Atom has been great, however whilst everything worked, the App could see my Tidal account and music, however when I press play on the App nothing would happen (just to confirm Tidal worked fine on my NDS).
