I have a batch of DVDs and recently I heard that I can stream WAV from DVD and I searched a lot, because I know WAV is lossless format, but it only supports Windows, so I want to ask for help of similar program, my budget is about 50$, any idea? Moderated Post: Unauthorised link removed.

I have finally got round to getting a NAS installed for primarily backing up CD rips held on my UnitiServe. Having been replaced by the Core, I might move the UnitiServe on and possibly replace it with a Core at some point. In this scenario, I would need the NAS to act as a music server in the interim, possibly installing Asset. Just wondering if others also faced similar issues with Atom or Nova - 1. There is no Search capability through remote/front screen - The same was shown there in one of the earlier adv screen shots. MusicBrainz lookup used to work absolutely fine after the software update happened in month of April. However, after I installed the latest software update (Aug 14th) it has has stopped working. Even the force Lookup 'Lookup Metadata' in Edit Metadata option does not bring the meta data from MusicBrainz. Sent an email to uniti-support and Phil in this regard. Regards, Sourav

Morning all up until say a few months ago all was well with my Uniti2, Mu-so and Qb. On the app always had all three up and available, not even a drop out on Tidal. Now almost every time I fire up the app (iphone or iPad) it searches for rooms, often without success - even if I had used it only say 5 minutes prior! The Nova comes with 10 more watts than the Star, but no CD ripper, right? Those 10 watts don't account for the price difference, do they? What am I missing here? Related: A nice comparison feature on the website would be nice for discussions like these. Does one exist?

Hi Chaps, Given my current problems with my HDX not being discovered as a UPnP server to my NDS, (more than likely network issues, as yet unresolved), I've temporarily connected the two directly via optical cable, and, somewhat surprisingly, to my ears it sounds fine. I know that how it sounds to me is all that really counts, but I would appreciate some input from our resident streaming / networking experts, as to whether theory would bear this out. This may seem like a newbie question but here goes. My primary system is a NAC282 with Linn LP12 and CDX as the main inputs. I also have a Naim MuSo in another room I use for stream audio from a Synology NAS. I want to be able to stream the FLAC files I have on the NAS to the Naim system but not sure how to do this. Hi, First, sorry if this has been covered before. Did a search and didn't find my exact problem mentioned, I think. ND5 wired to wifi router - Technicolor tg788vn , Naim app on iPad and iPhone , newest firmware on Naim, iOS 10.3.2. Too play ripped CDs, what benefits would I see if I were to connect a uniti core to an atom, vs connecting an external usb drive? As far as I can see, both sources would use the DAC in the atom?

Only 12 hours into ownership but an early question for anyone who may have had the same and solved it. I have 1 iPad working as a controller with Naim app but cannot seem to get any of 3 other apple devices to see the Atom at all. I'm a proud owner of an Atom and enjoying it tremendously. As many people have remarked, Naim have done a great job! Just two caveats/issues I wonder if other people have encountered... 1. gapless playback This is working with the Naim app, but not with the Bubbleupnp app. I use bubble to control all the other devices at home (running Minimserver) so a bit inconvenient to have to use 2 apps. I've had it just under 2 weeks. Several times when I wake it via the Naim App and use Chromecast built-in to ply Qobuz, the front display seems to have a corrupted display - I can only describe it as blurred grey bands that sometime fade in and out. I cannot get the home menu or other information to display without turning it off via the remote then on again. Please add the function on the DTC for merging Albums. I find it really annoying that the DTC dosent all have this function. My previous Sytem software had this function.

I am wanting to introduce Roon and streaming to my Naim enjoyment. However, apart from MuSo & AirPlay, there is no indication of when or if Naim will implement Roon Endpoint capability.
