Streaming Audio

Still a novice on streaming so please be gentle if replying! I am currently trialling jamcast to stream my iTunes music from my windows laptop through my uniti 2. I'm not sure how robust this is before purchasing their premium jamcast. Would I be able to use the new airplay 2 to achieve this and would it be better than jamcast's streaming tool? Last question - when I go into iTunes and click on speaker options it picks up my Muso but not Uniti - is there a reason why? Thanks

not sure if anyone has any suggestions for this piece of crap. Added my new Atom no problem but now my qb won't register on the app. The white light says that it's connected but each time I try to reset and use the app to connect with wifi it tells me (after a while) that connection failed. I have restarted server, muso, phone, everything. Any suggestions before I throw this POS out?

Having just installed a muso qb into the kitchen to address the WAF considerations I now have a unitiqute 2 surplus. Sorry if already asked but can't find the answer. Most of my externals are Mac HFS+ formatted - generally for >4GB video footage which FAT32 won't support. macOS can read but can't natively write NTFS. Fo audio highly unlikely I'd have file over 4GB anyway so FAT32 formatting may do. Perhaps ExFAT? Added new radio stations to my nd5 xs using naim vtuner, the added stations show on the ND5 XS screen but won't connect. It says "can't play station unavailable" and then goes to "no station". What have I done wrong? do i need to use Non-DHCP? Help please. The stations are Calm Radio subscription stations.

If I connect to BBC Radio3 using the Naim app the transmission is about 7 seconds delayed compared with connecting through Bubble UPNP using MinimStreamer (ie Bubble/Minim is quicker). Why is this? I can only think of some sort of buffering. Do I need to adjust anything? Thanks

I'm now the proud owner of a Muso and a Muso Qb, but having problems with the app. I can stream from spotify and itunes to both devices, so I'm confident the network works. However the app is another thing altogether. Hello, I have a large library of about 6000 CD (90 000tracks) on my computer Windows 7. I manage it with Foobar2000. I have been using Foobar 2000 (with the UPnP MediaRenderer Output component) to send a musical flow from my PC to a ARCAM AIRDAC by wired Ethernet home network. It works fine. Now I would like to use the Naim Uniti Atom as Mediarenderer Output from Foobar2000. If anyone has had the opportunity to test this configuration, thank you for your feedback.
