I'm a newbie - just taken delivery of my Atom. The unit sits on top of a cupboard which has a PC in it. I'd like to use this PC as my main server for the house and the ATOM. Historically I have used iTunes, so all the music is stored in that file format (sadly in Apple Lossless rather than FLAC, but I'll sort that out later). Hi, I have an android Samsung S7 phone. Since the lasts firmware update of NAIM App a few weeks ago, I get the issue of not being able to connect. (The circle is going round forever), even though it does seem to find my NDX. I can see the artwork of the current song playing that I started via the NDX itself, but I am powerless to do anything else in the app. My playlist songs all show with a yellow exclamation mark. Hi all I am trying out Deezer for a while and wonder if it's possible to Bluetooth Deezer to the Qute 2. It is the Bluetooth version. I quickly tried to set it up this morning by selecting the Bluetooth option on the Qute and telling Deezer to stream via Bluetooth however the only option that was available was Apple airplay to my Apple TV. The Apple TV is the latest version and that doesn't have an optical/analogue out. The only other option I can think of is buying an Apple airport express.

I currently have a cheap "cat7" cable running from my router in the middle of my house to my "office". The cable is 20m long and plugs into a switch. That switch feeds computer, sky etc and also has a 2m run, again in cheap "cat7", to a switch before the 272. A 1m Supra cat8 is between that switch and the 272. Just for information for the folks. I wanted a Cat5e external grade for running from our router in the back of the house to our front living room, in anticipation of the new Nova. To run around the outside of the house in buried conduit, about 60 feet of cable and terminations, was £138 plus vat from my guy who fits and services our alarm. I have a custom list of iradio stations on my NDX which I have added some time back and it works well for me. Now that I have gotten the Atom, I would like to add the same station onto it. Is there an easier way ? I realised that can only link one MAC address to an email so if I want to work on a new device (and MAC address), do I need another email ?

So, after 9 months of waiting i finally recieved my pre-ordered Naim Uniti Atom. Setup has been fine and all network, updates and services seem to be in place. However something is weird about the multiroom functionality when i'm trying to pair it with my Mu-so. Using the naim app on my iphone, both devices show up as "rooms" in the app start page. On my previous system i had i didn't have any issues with ripping. However with Naim i have some CD's that wont rip or you have to put in again a second time then it will rip. With the CD's that i couldn't rip i had to use EAC and extract it into windows and then use CD-R Media to burn the disc and then put back into Naim where it will start ripping. It is a bit annoying it is more annoying when it doesn't rip and you need to put in a paperclip to eject the CD. Why didn't Naim make things...

I recently moved house and am struggling with my NDX NAS setup. In the old house, I had the NAS (Synology 215j) connected to the network and hard wired into the NDX via CAT 5 cabling through the house. Everything worked perfectly. My problem in the new house is that I do not have integrated cabling to each room and the router is in a different room to the NDX and can't be brought nearer. So - what to do? Hi For various reasons, I have had to recently revert to using Wi-Fi, as opposed to wired ethernet connection. I fully appreciate that wired is the preferred method. I occasionally have a problem when listening to BBC radio on my Muso where the broadcast is suddenly interrupted and I get a repeated message that rights restrictions mean it can not be relayed. I understand this can be the case when listening from outside the UK but I am in the UK and also, it happens mid-programme (at about 8.45 in the Today programmme on radio 4 this morning for example). Any ideas on why this happens and is there a way to stop it?

Some front cover pictures do not display, even after clearing the cache and restarting the app (v5.7.3). I checked with foobar2000 that the front cover picture is well attached. Does not seem to be caused by the size of the picture. Try to "retagg" with foobar2000 : unsuccessfully. (Sorry for the language errors - native french speaking).

I'm very happy with mine and sad to see it discontinued. Interested to see that on the App it now displays Uniti rather than NAC-N 172XS so am concerned about longevity.
