anybody tried the chord music streaming cable, 4600GBP for 1m? i had only experienced audioquest diamond ethernet, but sold it because could not hear significative upgrade vs the vodka. The diamond is 3 times more expensive, so i could buy 2 vodkas. But perhaps this chord music ethernet is a revelation? or a steal? Someone had tested it and compared? I want to add that i like very much chord cables, i have signature array interconnects. But i doubt a little on very expensive lan cables.

Hey Guys; I think after one of the recent Naim app updates this year, I've been unable to find the 'Shuffle' function anywhere on screen when Playing albums in Tidal. I've checked the 'Now Playing' screen and 'Playlist' screen and I don't see it either on the top right or in each of the tracks' options. https://drive.google.com/open?...dhoX7NUM3R1o3X0c0c1E Is the option simply gone or something weird w/ the Android app? When playing music from my NAS, the shuffle option is there; just not...

I have a Qnap NAS with 2*3TB discs, set up as mirrored. I would like to reconfigure them so that they are not mirrored. Anyone know if this can be done?

How can the app N Serve be reset after substantial changes in DOWNLOADS folder? No doubt others experienced this - deleting several albums put in DOWNLOADS, going back to N Serve and the 'present albums' needed to be updated. i tried deleting the app then reinstalling but the old albums are still there and it's messy finding music. Can anyone relate and offer advice?

I have a question about Unitiserve. Since it isn't wireless and since i have never used wired before this will sound like a noob question. I will need to connect the cable to the Unitiserve and connect it to the Yellow port in my router. Is this correct?

Dear all, I have Just seen the latest forum delays on the Naim Nova at http://forums.naimaudio.com . I feel Naim's pain on the ongoing certification issues and really appreciate their honesty in the latest message but as no end in sight I now need to look at alternatives. I originally placed deposit on 2016 price in November. I was not considering secondhand and had budget about £4000 on unit(s) to go with my PMC twenty-five 23s. Thoughts please?? Naim two box solutions/ alternatives e.g...

I have an original Qute 24/96. The display is almost unreadable. Are these displays still available? Also is the 24/192 upgrade still available? I'm in the USA.

I've been fortunate to have the new Berkeley Reference DAC for the past 10 days. It really is a step up from my plain ol' Berkeley Alpha. I am hoping someone on the forum has had direct experience with this DAC and NDS. I really have 0 chance to hear a NDS without committing to buying before I try.... Thanks.

The shuffle/repeat buttons are missing from the Naim App version 5.6 display on an iPhone 5S - presumably because the display is too narrow - on an iPad, the shuffle/repeat buttons appear to the left of the previous track button. Steps to reproduce - start playing UPnP playlist, then try to activate shuffle or repeat.

I am interested in upgrading my ND5XS + XPS which currently outputs digital to nDAC + XPS, and am wondering which would sound better, replacing the ND5XS with a NDX or swapping out both it and the nDAC and going for an NDS? Currently I'm using third party XPS units but would hope to upgrade to Naim 555PS down the road on the NDS, or Naim XPS x 2 on the NDX and nDAC units if I went that way. As the saying goes, however, "If wishes were horses beggars would ride." So dealing with immediate...

So, if the NDS does benefit from using 2 555 power supplies, in its very highest configuration, with one 555PS for the Digital, DAC + Clock and a separate 555PS for the Analogue Supply via the separate Burndy connections, with the separation right back to the mains connection - so a suggestion is for a separate 'upgrade' Power Supply just for a NDS using one 555 unit. So this stand-alone supply would just be for Input 2 of the NDS, and is just the voltage rails needed for the analogue stage...

Hi, I have a dilemma and I was hoping you folk on here can help with and chime in with your opinions. I have the following setup which I got last year: Naim Nait 5Si Audiolab MDAC+ Dynaudio Emit M20's Premium speaker cable Chord C-line interconnect (weakest link) Rasberry Pi with Rasbian and Shairport-sync for Airplay Ipad with Tidal for driving the whole setup. Now I've been in the market for a Naim Hi-line RCA to DIN interconnect but just can't justify the £700+ price tag and none seem to...

Quck question. I've got a unitiqute 2 and happen to have a spare nap250 lying around. If I wanted to connect the two to use the nap250 power amp element I believe I need an rca to xlr cable. What wiring is needed for that/any suggestions where available/rough cost etc? Any view on whether it's worth doing? It's a serviced CB nap250 with some temporary old linn nexus speakers at the end. At some point I will change the speakers to something better but this not my main system. Regards Jeff

After a lot of research and a fair amount of listening to the alternatives, I've recently acquired a Mu-so Qb. Its sound quality is the best in class, no question, and the radio function is very nicely implemented. There are one or two 'buts'... I can almost forgive the Naim app's bugginess and 'single-instance-only' way of working - at least it stops the wife interfering with my choice of music :) - but my big gripe (with the Qb itself) is that it doesn't know about Chromecast and thus...

I have just become the proud owner of a new Qb. What superb sound quality. Can any user explain how I can select my preferred iRadio presets. I can see how to delete the factory presets but not how to replace them. Thanks Mike

After a decade without a hifi system of any distinction, the sale of my weekend plaything allowed me to justify, to myself, the need to get some decent music in my life. I crawled into the loft, turned the box marked "LP12" up the right way and dusted it off. As it hadn't been used for ten years it was bound to be ok and, sure enough, plugging the deck into the lingo 1 and the lingo 1 into the wall resulted in the platter dustily spinnning at what looked like the right sort of rate.

I am new to streaming and wondered how much there might be gained by considering a NAS drive to go alongside TIDAL. The only system I stream from currently is Uniqute2, nap 100 and Sonus Concertino's in the study. But I do listen late and loud here as Its three floors and a staircase away from the other half so sound quality is important. I have quite a few CD's, probably 500-750 or so

Is there an easy way to check to see how much memory remains on the internal storage of the Core? I don't see any option in the app on settings. Tried clicking on the icon on the network and hitting "option I" (on a Mac), but I only get he disc name and no other information. Thanks.

Anyone tried the Brennan B2? Seems a lot of capability for 500 notes.

I have a Unitiserve HDD backed up to NAS. If/when the disk on the UServe fails and needs replacing I would probably replace it with a Uniti Core. Is it possible to load the backup from the NAS, directly to the Music Folder on the Core?

Hi, this is my first post on this site. I have owned my Unitiserve (played via 272 and 250DR) for I think a couple of years now. The main problem I have with it, is control using the Naim app for android devices. There are a few niggles but the most annoying is if I leave the app running, after I have finished listening to a cd, then go back to the app, it does not recognise the server. My laptop sees it still and if I restart the tablet all is back ok. The main reason I went down this...

I normally drive my Unitilite via the Android app from a tablet. This was going fine until I let the tablet update the Naim app as prompted recently. My Android version is 4.4.2 and no system updates took place at the same time - just apps. Now when I try to open the app, the screen blacks out and after a few minutes I get a message stating that the app has stopped working and do I want to Wait, Report or Quit. Only Quit appears to do anything. I uninstalled the app and downloaded it again...

When purchasing a 2nd hand NDX, as i understand, at some point during NDX's existence, one board inside the NDX was changed for a better sound solution board. Could someone tell me please when that happened, in order the purchase the newest version of NDX. Thanks so much in advance

Having the following problem: I download a high quality WAV file (Radiohead's OKNOTOK). In the folder after I download it, all is where it should be (correct track order, cover art and so on). I move it into the Core downloads folder. When I check the contents in that folder, same thing - everything is in order. However, when I open it on the Naim app - the track order is all mixed up. I've had the same thing on a couple of other downloads as well. The tracks seem to go: regular track one,...
