Streaming Audio

I have a Qnap TS-253A nas, and ever since getting it last year I have used the one touch backup button on the front to backup to WD My Passport USB drives. Previously, pressing the button did a differential backup of new additions to the NAS, and took a matter of minutes, depending on how much music I'd added to the NAS. Whilst editing the 'Music shares' on my Serve, I inadvertently removed access to its Downloads folder. Can someone point me to the correct method for restoring it ? Here's where I'm stuck : I'm having trouble with the 'Share path'... Thanks ! Jan

Has anything changed recently? My Superuniti has been atrocious over the last week or so: Tidal streaming as bad as ever before, and unable even to play songs from a USB stick stuck in the front without constant interuptions. Was there an update that has gone wrong? I would restart and see if that helps, but don't actually know how to switch the thing off. I am paying £20 a month to Tidal - is it their fault when the music stops?

I finally got rid of my homeplugs and hardwired the ethernet to my setup of 272/250dr/xpsdr. The difference in sq is very obvious now. Much better bass richer sound and expanded soundstage. Should have done this long back. No more experiments with subwoofers etc. Phew!

My NAIM unity2 keeps on reconnecting and loosing wifi signal. I cant listen to any streamed music. Spotify, Tidal, upnp keeps stoping. Naim APP on ipad keeps reconnecting and so on. I know that many of you have had this problem for ages. Is there any sollution of this? As it seems to me that NAIM does not care about this problem. Please help, because i am loosing hope on this. Hello, new here to the forum. This weekend I bought my Naim Mu-So with a Synology NAS DS216+II with 2 x WD Red 4TB. I ripped my cd collection to the NAS. Streaming goes well, but after 30 minutes it stops playing the songs. Anyone knows what can cause this? Some additional info: the NAS and the Mu-So are both connected by wires to my router. Streaming goes from a HTC One or a Samsung Galaxy S6, both running app version 1.8 (version 2.0 doesn't work at my devices).

So I'm lucky enough to have two thirds of a 500 series for my main system and an on loan unitiqute 2 (about to be replaced with an Atom) and rather impulsively bought a Mu-so Qb for the bedroom. As I commented before, I have been using sn2+ndac, with audioengine b1 for a while. The truth, I pretty much like what I hear. But, I believe (not quite sure) that it is time to upgrade this combo by adding an nd5xs to the combo. I've read that the ndac+nd5xs would be better than the ndx alone.
