Streaming Audio

Sorry for the lame question but I'm old school. What should I get in order to rip all my cd collection and connect it to my NAC72 instead of using my cd3.5 ? On the cheap side please and using my laptop/broadband internet connection without compromising sound quality as it is right now ? Cheers Pedro

The update icon popped up on my Naim app when I accessed my Core. When I clicked to see, it showed that it is asking me to update to an earlier firmware. Anyone has this as well? I have a pic but no idea how to post it here!

I assume many of you like me have updated the Core to v1.3? I have have issues with the update and it is EXTREMELY frustrating. Have any of you experienced any issues? Let me list mine: 1. MQA does make a difference to my ears on my MacBook pro, but much prefer to hear it on a Naim source. Don't know if it is the MQA process or just listening to 24 bit master compared to 16 bit, but difficult to go back to 16 bit after hearing the master 24 bit version of "when the Levee Breaks" Led Zeppelin. Hi, I'm just buying a new house and have the choice to install a separate spur for my hi-fi. I'm having three double sockets installed off the spur and they will be next to each other. I want to run my hi-fi, TV and AV amp from those sockets. Is that a good idea? My one year old MuSo suddenly started switching inputs automatically, at times it changes inputs at a dizzying speed ... then it stops! I tried a factory reset, no help. Today I troubleshoot it down to the Toslink Fiber input from my TV, once disconnected everything returned to normal. Anyone else experienced this behavior with their MuSo? Are there any solutions?

I did the update left a while, then unplugged fir a while and now the App finds 121 albums on a hdd which had 569 albums? Anybody having such problems or can someone fringe naim reassure me it's doing some rebuilding effort on the hdd?

This is by no means critical; just a matter of housekeeping. On the list of UPnP servers displayed on my ND5-XS are Synology MediaServer, MinimServer but also a whole plethora of Sonos servers from the 5 Sonos speakers I have dotted around the house. These Sonos servers are irrelevant to the ND5-XS and I would like to find a way to avoid displaying them, apart from just switching them off! Is this possible does anyone know?

Hi Folks, NAC272/250dr I listen to internet radio a lot, specifically aardvark blues fm , MP3 128 k and for the last 4 weeks have noticed frequent buffering related gaps as the buffering goes down to 0% for a few seconds then back to 100%. It only seems to affect this station , all the others i listen to at the same bitrates work abolutely fine maintaining 100%. I dont use wifi, its a wired connection . Hi, does anybody know of any alternatives to the Naim App for use with my NDX. Streamers, Renders, Players etc the terms are not clear to me, are they defined anywhere ?

I buy a download, run it through Metadatics and add to the Downloads folder. Sometimes the music appears in the 'Newest' section of n-Serve or App, sometimes it doesn't. Any idea why?
